You control a small, agile ship called the Flintlock, navigating through waves of enemy crafts and intricate bullet patterns. The main objective is to survive each stage, defeating bosses and clearing screens to progress. Two mechanics define the action: you can steal weapons from downed enemies, switching your firepower on the fly, and you have a detachable orb that can either shield you from incoming shots or be launched forward to attack.
