Paperboy on the Amiga came out in 1985, published by Mindscape. It was one of those games that felt right at home on the platform, a straightforward arcade port that didn't try to be more than it was. You controlled a kid on a bicycle with a bag full of papers, and your job was as simple as it sounded: get the papers to the right houses.

You steer the bike down a suburban street, aiming for subscribers' mailboxes while avoiding everyone else's windows. The challenge comes from the obstacles; cars pull out of driveways, dogs chase you, and random tires roll into your path. You can throw papers at breakable objects for points, but hitting non subscribers or missing your targets lowers your performance. The game moves at a steady clip, and the difficulty ramps up quickly as new hazards appear. It feels frantic but satisfying when you nail a perfect throw while swerving past a storm drain.
