Play Paperboy 2 on Snes Online
Pedal through suburban chaos, dodging dogs and cannonballs while trying to hit porches—not windows—with your newspapers. The neighborhood fights back harder than you'd expect for a paper route.

Paperboy 2 came out on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1991, developed by Tengen. It was a sequel to the arcade original, and it fit right in with the kind of quirky, straightforward action games that were common in the early 90s. You didn't need a complicated story or deep mechanics to have fun back then; you just needed a bike and a bag full of papers.
You control a paperboy on a bicycle, delivering newspapers to subscribers while avoiding obstacles and troublemakers. Your main goal is to finish your route with as many successful deliveries as possible, hitting porches and avoiding breakable windows. The game uses a side-scrolling perspective, with obstacles like angry dogs, reckless drivers, and even rogue cannonballs appearing in your path. You can throw papers with a button press, aiming for accuracy, and you also have limited special papers to take out particularly aggressive hazards. The difficulty ramps up quickly, demanding sharp reflexes and good timing to avoid crashes and missed throws. It feels hectic and a little absurd, but satisfying when you nail a perfect throw under pressure.
