Phozon is this weirdly addictive arcade puzzle game where you play as a little black molecule called the Chemic, zipping around the screen trying to collect colored moleks. The trick is arranging them into the exact pattern shown in the middle—mess up, and you can ditch a molek with the reject button. Sounds simple, right? Then the Atomic shows up.
Imagine eight glowing balls moving in a pack, then suddenly splitting up to swarm you. They fire these rays that knock moleks right off your Chemic, and if you touch them, you lose a life. Later levels add more balls to the Atomic, turning the screen into pure chaos. You do get power moleks that let you fight back for a bit, but the Atomic always regenerates. Just when you think you've got a rhythm, everything falls apart.
Every fourth level is a bonus stage where you blast moleks in four directions to wreck the Atomic—no lives lost, but the second you touch them, it's over. The whole thing feels like chemistry class if your teacher was out for blood. It's frustrating in the best way.
