Game Overview
Pipe Dream is one of those weirdly satisfying Game Boy puzzles where you slap down pipes before this glowing goo called 'flooz' starts oozing through them. At first it seems simple—just connect the dots—but then you realize the pieces come in random order, and suddenly you're frantically swapping corners and crosses while the flooz creeps closer to a dead end.
The real trick is planning loops around those crossover pieces (bonus points if you thread the flooz through five of 'em) or trying to fill the entire grid—which never goes as smoothly as you think. Later levels throw in blocked squares and warp holes that teleport the flooz across the screen, just to mess with you. And every few rounds, it turns into a weird Connect-4 minigame where you drop pipes vertically instead. It's oddly tense for a game about plumbing.
Honestly, half the fun is watching your carefully built pipe system fail spectacularly when one misplaced corner sends the flooz spiraling into oblivion.
