Play Pipe Dream on Snes Online
You scramble to lay down pipes before the flooz starts flowing, cursing when you get stuck with useless bends instead of straights—then panic-swap pieces as the timer runs out. Later levels mess with you by adding teleports and blocked tiles that either save your run or wreck it completely.

Pipe Dream came out on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990, developed by The Assembly Line. It was part of that early wave of SNES puzzle games, a straightforward concept that didn't rely on flashy graphics or a big license to find its audience.
You control a cursor to select and place different pipe pieces onto a grid before a liquid called Flooz begins moving from the start point. The objective is to build a continuous path for the Flooz to travel from the start to the finish before time runs out. The signature mechanics involve managing a queue of upcoming pipe pieces and frantically rotating and placing them under pressure, with later stages introducing obstacles like fixed blocks and teleporters that drastically alter your route. The pacing is relentlessly quick, demanding fast decisions and adaptability, and it feels like a constant, satisfying race against a clock.
