Power Rangers: Samurai on the DS is exactly what you'd expect—fast, chaotic, and packed with those cheesy-but-fun morphing sequences. You start off picking your ranger (I always go for the red one, obviously) and then it's straight into smacking around weirdly named monsters with your oversized sword.
The combat's simple—button mashing works fine at first, but later fights actually make you think a little about timing your blocks. And yeah, the Zord battles are here too—clunky but satisfying when you finally land that finishing move. It’s not deep, but if you grew up watching the show, there’s something weirdly nostalgic about hearing "Go go Power Rangers!" from the tinny DS speakers.
Just don’t expect a masterpiece. It’s a licensed game through and through—short, silly, and best played with low expectations and a love for neon-colored chaos.
