Power Rangers - SPD (EU) is a side-scrolling beat 'em up for the GBA where you play as the SPD rangers. The first few minutes are exactly what you'd expect - punching through waves of grunts, occasionally switching to another ranger when you want a different fighting style.
What stood out was how weightless the combat feels. Your attacks connect without much impact, and enemies just sort of flinch before getting back up. The special moves look flashy but take forever to charge, so you end up mashing basic combos most of the time.
It nails the Power Rangers aesthetic though - bright colors, cheesy dialogue between levels, and that familiar SPD logo everywhere. If you grew up with the show, there's some nostalgia here. Just don't expect deep gameplay.
