Predator 2 came out on the Sega Genesis in 1992, published by Arena Entertainment. You control Lieutenant Mike Harrigan, moving through urban levels filled with gang members and, eventually, the Predator itself. The main objective is to rescue hostages and survive long enough to confront the alien hunter. Key mechanics include collecting different firearms dropped by enemies, managing your limited ammo for each weapon, and finding drug bags that act as a weird, specific form of health pickup. The pacing is relentless; the difficulty is high, with enemies swarming from all sides and the Predator appearing suddenly to claim its victims. It feels tense and unforgiving, a scramble for survival where every mistake costs you dearly.
