Game Overview

Probotector (EU) is basically Contra but with robots—same brutal run-and-gun action, just with metallic soldiers instead of humans. The first level throws you right into it: dodging bullets, jumping over pits, and praying you don’t accidentally pick up the wrong weapon upgrade.

It’s one of those NES games where you die in two hits, so every enemy feels like a threat. The robot designs are cool though, especially the way they explode into little mechanical bits when you take them down. The screen scrolls relentlessly, so you’re always moving forward, no time to hesitate.

If you’ve played Contra, you already know what to expect—just with more sci-fi flavor. Probotector (EU) doesn’t reinvent anything, but it’s a solid, punishing shooter that holds up.
