Puzzled, also known as Joy Joy Kid, came out in arcades in 1990 from SNK. It was part of that wave of early 90s puzzle games that tried to grab your quarters with simple concepts and escalating pressure. You don't see it mentioned much next to the heavy hitters of the era, but it had its own quiet spot in the lineup.

You control a small, blocky character whose only job is to push colored blocks into matching slots on a grid. The main objective is to clear each single-screen stage before the timer runs out or the playfield becomes completely impassable. Two mechanics define the challenge: you can only push one block at a time, and new blocks constantly drop from the top of the screen, threatening to trap you. The pacing is relentless; hesitation means a quick game over. It feels like a race against a quiet, methodical avalanche.
