Play Quattro Sports Online
Four NES sports games in one: baseball with real pitching, chaotic soccer, surprisingly deep tennis, and BMX racing that'll test your timing. The BMX tracks alone are worth it.

Quattro Sports came out in 1991 for the NES, developed and published by Codemasters. It was one of those multi-cartridge releases that bundled four separate sports titles into one package, a common approach for squeezing more value out of the aging console. You got baseball, soccer, tennis, and BMX racing all on a single cartridge, which was a pretty good deal at the time.
You control the athletes in each sport, aiming to win matches or races. In baseball, you pitch and bat, trying to outscore the opponent. Soccer is a fast, top-down game where you pass and shoot, often leading to chaotic scrambles in front of the goal. Tennis requires careful positioning and timing to place shots, while BMX racing challenges you to jump and land smoothly to maintain speed. The difficulty varies; the BMX sections are particularly tough, demanding precise input to avoid crashing. It feels like a solid collection of straightforward, no-frills sports simulations.
