Questron II on the Amiga is basically more of what made the first game fun, but with a bigger world to mess around in. You start off as some broke nobody with a rusty dagger, picking fights with random monsters just to scrape together enough gold for a slightly less terrible sword. The usual RPG grind, but there’s something satisfying about watching your peasant slowly turn into someone who might actually survive a dungeon.

This time, you’re hopping between two continents—Landor and the Realm of Sorcerers—plus all the usual dungeons and castles full of things that want to kill you. The twist? You’ve been sent back in time to stop six lunatic sorcerers from creating the Book of Magic. So instead of chasing one big bad guy, you’re running around trying to wreck their plans before they even get started. It’s a neat setup, even if half your time is still spent getting ambushed by goblins in the woods.

If you liked the first Questron, this one gives you more of that same rough-but-charming RPG feel, just with a few extra layers of chaos.
