Raiden - Part B picks up right where the first one ended, throwing you back into that classic top-down shooter chaos. Your ship feels familiar—same tight controls, same satisfying pew-pew with CTRL—but now there’s a twist: bombs. Hit space to drop one when things get too crowded, though you’ll rarely have enough to spam them.
The power-ups are what keep you glued to the screen. Grabbing those floating orbs changes your shot pattern completely, and half the fun is figuring out which one works best for the swarm of enemies diving at you. (I always go for the red spread shot early—trust me.) The pixel explosions and chiptune soundtrack? Pure nostalgia, but it still holds up.
Just don’t expect mercy. This is old-school hard, where one slip means starting over.
