Play Ranma Nibun no Ichi : Part 2 Online

Punch your way through tiny but expressive Ranma ½ characters—dodge water buckets, land combos on rooftop stages, and try not to get splashed mid-fight. The controls feel tighter than the first game, with less floaty jumps and actual hit detection.

Game Overview

If you grew up with Ranma ½, this Game Boy brawler is pure nostalgia fuel. You’re basically smacking around weirdos from the anime—chefs, martial artists, that one guy who’s always carrying a bucket—while trying not to get splashed (because, y’know, instant girl mode). The sprites are tiny but full of personality, and the combat’s simple—just enough depth to keep you from button-mashing your way to boredom.

Part 2 fixes some of the clunkiness from the first game, so jumps feel less floaty and punches actually connect. My favorite stage? The one where you fight on rooftops while dodging random water balloons. It’s janky in that classic 90s anime-game way, but that’s part of the charm. Definitely dig this one out if you miss when licensed games had actual effort put into them.
