Game Overview
Riot throws you straight into chaos—you're blasting enemies in both the foreground and background with separate fire buttons, which sounds simple until you realize how fast things get overwhelming. The first time a jeep came barreling at me from behind while I was focused on snipers ahead, I panicked and mashed buttons like an idiot. You'll get the hang of it, though.
The levels switch up fast—one minute you're ducking through ruined city streets, the next you're on a speeding train or dodging shelves in a department store. The bosses are the best part, especially when they warp you into these trippy alternate dimensions. Some are obvious nods to famous characters, but I won’t spoil which ones. Just keep an eye out for those red propeller bombs—grabbing a flamethrower or shotgun when you're swarmed feels like cheating (in a good way).
It’s pure arcade chaos, best played with a friend for maximum screaming-at-the-screen moments.
