Game Overview

I first played Rolling Stones on the Amiga back in 1982. It was developed by a small team, and it fit right in with the kind of thoughtful puzzle games that were starting to appear on home computers then. You didn't need flashy graphics; the challenge was the main attraction.

You control a single boulder, rolling it through a series of maze-like screens. Your goal is to navigate to the exit in each level, but the path is blocked by obstacles, traps, and movable blocks that must be pushed into the right positions. The puzzles require careful planning, since a wrong move can leave you stuck and force a restart. The difficulty ramps up steadily, demanding more foresight with each new stage. It feels satisfying to finally solve a tricky screen after several attempts.
