You play as Rotox, this clunky little robot dropped into these weird 3D maze-like levels where everything wants you dead. The first time I played, I just stood there staring at the level from above—it’s all these disconnected sectors floating in space, with moving walkways and turrets everywhere. You’ve gotta wipe out every last enemy bot in a sector before moving on, and figuring out the order to tackle them is half the challenge.
What’s cool is how the weapons just kinda pop up randomly—you’ll be scrambling for cover one second, then stumble on some overpowered laser thing that turns the tables. The rotoscoped animation gives everything this janky, surreal look that somehow works. Just don’t expect it to hold your hand—those moving platforms don’t wait for you to line up your jumps.
