Rotox_Disk2 is one of those weirdly satisfying Amiga games where you play as a robot whose sole job is to wipe out other robots. The whole thing’s rotoscoped, so the movement has this eerie, slightly janky fluidity—like watching an old cartoon with too many frames missing.
You start each level dropping in from above, getting a quick glimpse of the nine disconnected sectors below. Half the challenge is figuring out how to hop between them, since some are only reachable by timing your jumps on moving platforms. And trust me, those platforms don’t wait for you.
The enemies aren’t pushovers either. You’ll scavenge weapons as you go, but clearing a sector feels like a small victory—especially when the screen flashes to let you know it’s safe to move on. Just don’t expect any of the robots to go down easy.
