Download Running Man, The_Disk1 ROM – Amiga Game
A 1989 Amiga action game with obstacle navigation, enemy evasion, and multiple escalating challenge levels. Features platform-style mechanics and scrolling environments.
Game Overview
Running Man on the Amiga is one of those weird, janky gems from the late '80s that somehow sticks with you. You play as this blocky little guy sprinting through a maze of platforms and obstacles while dodging enemies—think a mix of platformer and endless runner before that was even a thing. The controls take a second to get used to (good luck nailing those jumps at first), but once it clicks, there's something weirdly satisfying about the rhythm of it.
The graphics are pure Amiga charm—bright colors, chunky sprites, and that unmistakable retro feel. The music loops in a way that either gets stuck in your head or drives you nuts, depending on how many times you've restarted. And you will restart. A lot.
It's not the deepest game, but there's a weirdly addictive quality to trying to beat your own high score. Just don't throw your joystick when you miss a jump for the tenth time.
