Game Overview

Free Running on PSP is basically the closest you'll get to feeling like a parkour pro without breaking your ankles in real life. You start as this rookie traceur learning the ropes (or, well, rooftops) from actual parkour legends like Sebastian Foucan. The controls take a minute to get used to—expect to faceplant into walls at first—but once you nail the timing, chaining vaults, rolls, and wall runs feels surprisingly smooth.

The city’s your playground, with everything from construction sites to cramped alleyways to leap across. The scoring system rewards style over speed, so you’ll find yourself tweaking routes just to squeeze in an extra flip or precision jump. Story mode’s fun, but the real replay value comes from the challenges: races against the clock, trick combos, or even multiplayer showdowns if you’ve got friends with PSPs. Unlocking new gear and tracks gives you that "one more try" itch, especially when you’re just a few points shy of beating your high score.

It’s not perfect—the camera fights you sometimes—but for a portable parkour sim, it holds up way better than you’d expect. Just don’t blame me when you start eyeing real-life fences differently.
