Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories on PSP takes you back to the neon-soaked streets of the 80s, two years before Tommy Vercetti’s rampage in the original Vice City. You play as Vic Vance—a soldier who gets screwed over by the system and ends up scrapping his way up from nothing. His brother Lance (yeah, that Lance) tags along, but let’s just say he’s not exactly reliable.
The usual GTA chaos is here—carjacking, shootouts, and dodging cops—but with some cool twists. You can finally swim (no more instant drowning!), and side gigs like firefighting or ambulance runs break up the crime sprees. The big addition is Empire mode, where you muscle in on rival gangs’ turf, turning their businesses into your own shady operations. Pick drug running, protection rackets, or even a brothel—location matters, so you’ll fight harder for spots in richer neighborhoods.
