Spider-Man 3 for the PlayStation Portable came out in 2007, developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Activision. You control Spider-Man, swinging and fighting your way through the city to stop a series of supervillains like the Lizard and Rhino. The main goal involves completing story missions, stopping random crimes, and collecting hidden tokens. Key mechanics include free-roaming web swinging, combo-based brawling, and a morality system where wearing the black suit increases your power but also your aggression, which affects how citizens and police react to you. The pacing is fairly brisk, though some missions can feel repetitive, and the camera occasionally struggles in tight spaces. It feels satisfying to swing through the city and pull off acrobatic takedowns, even with the hardware limitations.
