Play Spider-Man 3 (FireX) (F) Online

Swinging through the city feels surprisingly fluid once you adjust to the DS controls—landing on rooftops is half the battle. The combat's basic but punchy, with thugs to web up and villains who actually make you work for it.

Game Overview

Spider-Man 3 on the DS is exactly what you'd expect—a little janky, but weirdly fun once you get the hang of it. Swinging around the city feels surprisingly decent for a handheld, though the controls take some getting used to (good luck nailing those precise landings at first).

You’ll fight a mix of street thugs and bigger villains, and the combat’s simple but satisfying—lots of button-mashing and the occasional quick-time event. The graphics are… well, DS-era 3D, so don’t expect miracles, but the animations capture Spidey’s acrobatics better than you’d think.

It’s not the deepest superhero game out there, but if you’re craving some portable web-slinging, this one gets the job done. Just don’t go in expecting a console experience.
