This GBA Spider-Man 3 game nails that classic web-swinging feel—even on the tiny screen. You’re bouncing between rooftops, yanking thugs off the streets with webs, and occasionally rescuing civilians who somehow always stand right near exploding barrels. The controls take a minute to get used to (why does wall-crawling feel so stiff?), but once you’re airborne, it’s satisfying to chain swings together.

Then the black suit shows up, and suddenly you’re hitting harder but also taking more damage—like the game’s quietly warning you about power coming at a cost. The movie’s villains pop up in bite-sized boss fights, though don’t expect deep storytelling. Mostly it’s just you, your reflexes, and a whole lot of guys in balaclavas to punch.

It’s janky in that early-2000s handheld way, but there’s charm in how it squeezes Spidey’s acrobatics onto a GBA cart.
