Sabre Wulf (E) is this weird little GBA game that mixes 3D exploration with 2D platforming. At first, it feels like two completely different games stitched together. You wander around these blocky 3D areas talking to NPCs, then drop into these tight, puzzle-heavy platforming sections.

The 2D parts are where it gets interesting. You can't attack directly, so you have to rely on creatures you find to do things like break walls or reach high platforms. It's frustrating at first when you don't have the right creature for a puzzle, but once you figure out the combinations, it feels pretty satisfying.

I remember one level where I kept dying because I didn't realize I needed a specific creature to cross a gap. Took me way too long to backtrack and find it. That's Sabre Wulf (E) in a nutshell—sometimes clunky, but oddly charming once it clicks.
