Play Samurai Jack : The Amulet of Time Online

I picked up Samurai Jack: The Amulet of Time for the Game Boy Advance back in 2003, when Vivendi Universal Games was publishing a lot of licensed titles. It was a solid side-scrolling action game for the system, fitting right in with the era's mix of platformers and beat 'em ups based on cartoons and movies. You play as Jack, of course, and the story sends him after pieces of a magical amulet to stop Aku, which is pretty standard for the show.

You control Jack through a series of side-scrolling levels, slashing enemies with your katana and occasionally using a bow for ranged attacks. The main goal is to explore each stage, defeat bosses, and collect amulet fragments to progress. The combat relies on simple combos and a well-timed parry move that lets you counter enemy strikes; landing a perfect parry often results in an instant kill. Levels are designed with some hidden areas and alternate routes, encouraging a bit of backtracking once you gain new abilities. The pacing is methodical, and the difficulty can spike during boss fights, but nailing a string of parries and clearing a screen of enemies feels incredibly satisfying.
