Play Scooby-Doo - Mystery Mayhem (E)(Independent) Online
You creep through haunted spots as Scooby and Shaggy, grabbing clues and switching characters when things get too spooky—just like the old cartoons, janitor twist included. The platforming’s a bit rough, but hearing "Jinkies!" again makes up for it.
Okay, so Scooby-Doo: Mystery Mayhem on the GBA is exactly what you'd expect—goofy, campy, and full of those classic "meddling kids" vibes. You're basically running around haunted mansions and spooky amusement parks solving puzzles, collecting clues, and occasionally switching between Shaggy and Scooby when things get too scary (which is often). The art style nails that old cartoon look, and the writing's got that cheesy charm—like, of course the janitor did it, but you still gotta prove it.
The controls are simple, but some of the platforming bits can be a little janky. Still, if you grew up watching the gang unmask villains in rubber masks, it's hard not to smile when Velma drops another "Jinkies!" after finding a key. Not gonna lie, the nostalgia carries it more than the gameplay sometimes.
It's short, silly, and exactly the kind of thing you'd play with the TV reruns on in the background.
