Download Sensible World Of Soccer '96-'97_Disk2 ROM – Amiga Game
Top-down football sim with 1996/97 season rosters. Fast-paced arcade gameplay. Released for Amiga in 1996.
If you've ever played Sensible World of Soccer on the Amiga, this '96/'97 update will feel instantly familiar—because honestly, not much changed. They basically just tweaked the team rosters and called it a day. Still the same addictive, fast-paced football with that classic top-down view.
Now, the Xbox 360 version actually tried a little harder: online multiplayer (finally), slightly cleaner graphics (though it keeps that retro charm), and even fake ads that pop up during matches. The rosters are still stuck in the mid-'90s, but don’t expect real player names—just approximations. Meanwhile, the PC/Mac/Linux versions? Just the old DOS game running in an emulator. No frills.
It’s pure nostalgia, for better or worse. If you loved the original, this is more of the same—just maybe not enough to justify a full replay.
