Play Shadowrun (Japan) on sega Online
You wake up in a gutter after getting shot, then scrape together a crew of hackers and street samurai to take dirty jobs from corps. The combat’s rough, but swinging a katana at cyber-goons never gets old.

Game Overview
Shadowrun on the Genesis is this weird, grimy cyberpunk RPG that feels like someone took William Gibson’s brain and dumped it straight into a 16-bit cartridge. It’s way darker than the SNES version—you start off getting shot in some back alley, and things only get more brutal from there.
The world’s got this oppressive vibe where corporations own everything, and you’re just some nobody trying to scrape by doing shady jobs. You can hire hackers, mages, or street samurai (I went heavy on the samurai—turns out cyberdecks are expensive). The combat’s clunky by today’s standards, but there’s something satisfying about watching your katana-wielding merc chop through security drones.
It’s janky, unforgiving, and totally immersive if you give it time. The Genesis version nails that "low-life in a high-tech world" feeling better than most games ever have.
