1990 submarine simulation for Amiga. Command a US sub in WWII Pacific theater. Manage speed, depth, navigation. 9 submarine classes, 10 torpedo types. Engage 14 enemy vessels across 7 historical missions.
Game Overview
You're crammed into the claustrophobic bridge of a WWII sub, listening to the creak of metal and the ping of sonar. Outside, the Pacific is crawling with Japanese warships—some you can take head-on, others you'll want to avoid like the plague. The controls feel surprisingly tense: mess up your depth or speed, and suddenly you're either scrap metal or floating helplessly while destroyers rain depth charges.
What I love is how each sub handles differently—the tiny S-class feels like a go-kart compared to the hulking Balao, but good luck taking down a cruiser with its pea-shooter torpedoes. And yeah, you can hunt the Yamato... if you're crazy enough to get within range of those monstrous guns. Just don't blame me when your periscope gets blown off.
Seven real naval battles, a ton of ship types, and that constant dread of hearing propellers overhead. One of the few games where silence is your best weapon.
