Download Space Crusade_Disk2 ROM – Amiga Game
Turn-based strategy game where players command marines in tactical missions aboard alien starships. Features rank progression, multiplayer for up to 3 players, and 3D combat sequences. Released in 1992 for Amiga.
Space Crusade takes that classic Games Workshop board game and slaps it onto your Amiga with all the dice-rolling, alien-blasting tension intact. You start as a sergeant leading four marines through cramped starship corridors—think flickering lights, sudden ambushes, and that satisfying clunk of plastic miniatures moving across a grid, except it’s all digital now.
The missions play out like tactical puzzles: clear the ship of aliens, sabotage something vital, or just survive the ambushes. What’s cool is how your commander levels up between missions, and the 3D battle close-ups (a big deal back then) make fights feel weighty—like watching your marine’s pixelated face grimace as they take a plasma hit. It’s got that same claustrophobic vibe as later X-Com games, just with more 90s-era chunky UI.
Best with friends, honestly. Three players can each control a marine chapter, while the computer ruthlessly runs the alien hordes. Just don’t get too attached to your squad—those genestealers don’t mess around.
