Play Space Crusade Online
Command a squad of space marines or aliens on a grid, flipping between flat and isometric views while turn-based chaos unfolds—just don’t get too distracted spinning the camera when you should be blasting enemies.

Space Crusade came out in 1992 for MS-DOS, developed by Gremlin Interactive. It was one of those games that felt right at home on a PC at the time, sitting alongside other strategy and dungeon crawl titles that asked you to think a little more than just react.
You control a squad of space marines, moving them room by room through a derelict spaceship on a grid. The main goal is to complete mission objectives, which usually means wiping out alien forces or securing specific items. The game uses a turn based system where you plan each marine's movement and attacks, then watch as the enemy gets its turn. You can switch between a flat overhead view and an isometric perspective, which helps with planning angles and spotting threats. The pacing is deliberate, almost tense, because a wrong move can get a marine killed quickly. It feels like directing a slow, dangerous chess match where every door could hide something waiting to tear your team apart.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
