Spinmaster is one of those Neo Geo gems that feels like a Saturday morning cartoon turned into a game. You play as these two dudes, John and Tom, who have to rescue their friend Mary from some mad scientist—classic setup, but the gameplay’s where it shines.

Right off the bat, you’re tossing yo-yos at enemies (yes, yo-yos), but you quickly find way cooler weapons like bombs and ice shots. The charge attacks feel satisfying—hold down the button, let go, and watch everything on screen explode. And if you’re feeling fancy, you can even slide-kick enemies or just jump on their heads like some kind of platforming maniac.

The levels are short but packed with enough chaos to keep you on your toes. By the time you hit the third stage, you’ll be juggling weapons, dodging bullets, and probably yelling at the screen when you accidentally waste your super attack. It’s pure arcade fun with just the right amount of jank.
