Play Squash Online
Dive across the court for wild saves, angle your shots mid-swing, and try not to faceplant while the AI ruthlessly punishes slow recoveries. Simple two-button controls hide some surprisingly deep squash tactics.

Squash came out in 1981 as an arcade game from Atari, Inc. It was part of that early wave of sports simulations, trying to capture a fast indoor game on a screen. You don't see many pure squash games, so it always felt like a specific, almost niche choice among the space shooters and maze chases of the time.
You control a paddle, representing a player on a squash court, viewed from a side perspective. The main objective is to hit the ball against the front wall before it bounces twice on your side, trying to outmaneuver an AI opponent. Signature mechanics include angling your shots by moving the paddle during its swing and diving across the court for desperate saves, which leaves you vulnerable if you miss. The pacing is relentless; the computer opponent rarely makes mistakes and forces you to constantly anticipate the ball's rebound. It feels like a tense, physical workout condensed into quick, punishing matches.
