Stable Masters is one of those games where you start off thinking, "How hard can training a digital horse be?" and then quickly realize there’s way more to it. You pick a horse—some are stubborn, some are speed demons—and then hire a jockey who actually gets along with your pick (trust me, mismatched pairs lose races fast).

After that, it’s all about balancing training, rest, and picking the right races. Push too hard, and your horse burns out before the derby. Too soft, and you’ll get left in the dust. The races themselves are tense—seeing your choices pay off (or backfire) is weirdly satisfying. Win enough, and you can afford better stables, better jockeys… or just blow it all on a risky long shot.

It’s got that classic Amiga charm—simple but surprisingly deep once you get into it. Just don’t get too attached to your first horse.
