Stack Up Amiga came out in 1991 from Zeppelin Games Limited and Celery Software, a puzzle title that fit right in with the Amiga's library of thoughtful, visually clean games from that period. It didn't try to reinvent the wheel, but offered a solid, focused experience for players who enjoyed methodical challenges.
You control the descent of colored blocks into a tall, narrow grid, rotating and positioning them to form complete horizontal rows of the same color. The main goal is to clear rows before the stack reaches the top, with mechanics that include careful planning around the physics of how blocks settle and a scoring system that rewards not just horizontal matches but clever vertical or diagonal arrangements.
