Game Overview

Stack-Up is one of those weird, forgotten NES games that came with R.O.B., the little robot accessory that mostly just sat on your shelf looking cute. You’re supposed to place colored blocks on the tray, and R.O.B. (in theory) moves its arms to stack them based on the game’s commands. In reality, it’s slow, finicky, and half the time the poor thing misses the blocks entirely—but there’s something oddly charming about watching it try.

If you ignore R.O.B., it’s basically a simple stacking puzzle game where you match colors and avoid toppling your tower. Not exactly a masterpiece, but a fun little piece of gaming history if you’re into that era. Just don’t expect it to hold your attention for long unless you really love janky robot antics.
