Star Force (J) [p1] is one of those old-school NES shooters where you just hold down the fire button and try not to crash into everything. The screen scrolls upward relentlessly, throwing waves of geometric enemy ships at you—some in tight formations, others just drifting lazily into your bullets.
At first, it feels manageable, but then the bullets start filling the screen, and you realize how thin your hitbox really is. The power-ups are basic—just speed boosts and weapon upgrades—but they make a difference when you're staring down a boss that takes up half the screen.
