You control a swimmer moving up a vertically scrolling river, avoiding obstacles like logs and snapping turtles while collecting fruit for points. The main goal is to reach the end of each stage, where a giant crab boss waits; you must defeat it by touching its weak spot. Two key mechanics include using power pills that temporarily let you destroy enemies instead of dodging them, and navigating increasingly aggressive waves of hazards that demand quick reflexes. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty ramps up sharply, making each successful dodge feel like a narrow escape.
