So Tails Nightmare is this weird little Flash game where, surprise, you actually play as Tails for once. Poor guy’s stuck in some messed-up dream, and since no one’s around to shake him awake, he’s gotta bust his way out the hard way. You know the drill: spin dashing through creepy corridors, flying over bottomless pits (bad idea to look down), and generally just winging it because dream logic makes zero sense.
It’s got that janky early-2000s Flash charm, physics are a little slippery, the levels are just the right amount of unfair, and the whole thing feels like someone’s sleep-deprived doodle come to life. If you’ve ever wanted Tails to have his own weird, slightly off-brand adventure, this is it.
