Play Task Force Amiga Online
Turn-based tactical strategy game. Command 1-5 operatives in 8 procedurally varied missions against enemy forces. Upgrade gear between missions. Four difficulty levels. Released in 1993 for Amiga.

Game Overview
Task Force is one of those Amiga games that feels like a sci-fi chess match with guns. You’ve got a small squad of agents—sometimes just one poor soul—up against waves of enemies, and every move counts. The missions play out in order, but the layouts shift a bit each time, so you can’t just memorize where the ambushes happen.
What I like is how tight the strategy feels. You’re scraping together cash between missions to buy gear, and every credit matters—do you splurge on better armor or save up for that grenade launcher? The difficulty levels actually change things up, too. On the harder settings, the AI gets downright sneaky, flanking you or camping choke points. It’s the kind of game where losing a single agent halfway through a mission makes you seriously consider restarting.
If you’ve played Rebelstar, you’ll recognize the vibe, but Task Force has its own flavor with the persistent upgrades and those semi-random maps. Just don’t expect to breeze through it in one sitting.
