Task Force is one of those late-era Atari 2600 games that somehow feels both brutally simple and weirdly tense. You're a soldier sneaking through enemy territory—basically a maze of blocky walls—grabbing weapons and taking out guards before they spot you. The controls are basic (this is a one-button joystick game), but timing your shots and dodging feels surprisingly sharp once you get the hang of it.

Don’t expect fancy graphics or deep strategy—just pure, old-school "move-shoot-don’t die" energy. It’s tough, too. I died a lot before realizing you can’t just rush in guns blazing. Froggo wasn’t known for masterpieces, but if you’re into quick, no-nonsense action from the 2600’s twilight years, this one’s a solid time-waster.
