Play Mario Bros [a1] Online
You and a friend knock turtles upside-down, kick them off platforms, and try not to slip on the ice while everything gets chaotic. Simple, janky, and weirdly addictive.

Game Overview
Mario Bros on the Atari 2600 is one of those games that feels way simpler than you remember—but in a good way. You’re just Mario (or Luigi if you’ve got a buddy), jumping between platforms and knocking out enemies by hitting the floor beneath them. Flip a Shellcreeper over, give it a kick, and watch it vanish. Easy, right? Then the ice physics kick in, and suddenly you’re sliding into a Sidestepper like a clumsy plumber on a banana peel.
It’s definitely stripped down from the arcade version—no POW blocks, no fancy animations—but there’s something weirdly satisfying about the bare-bones chaos. Two-player mode turns it into a mix of teamwork and accidental sabotage, especially when you both go for the same enemy and end up colliding mid-jump. Also, fun fact: this was one of the first times Mario wasn’t just rescuing Pauline from Donkey Kong. He’s just… here, punching turtles in a sewer. Classic.
If you’ve got a soft spot for janky old-school charm, this one’s a time capsule worth dusting off.
