Play Mario Bros in Sonic World Online
Mario bounces through Sonic’s loops and springs with that janky Flash-game feel—you’ll try to spin dash, eat spikes, and laugh at how weirdly it all clicks together.

Okay, so Mario Bros in Sonic World is exactly what it sounds like—someone took Mario, dropped him into Sonic’s levels, and somehow it works? You start off in a Green Hill Zone knockoff, but instead of rings, you’re grabbing coins, and the physics feel just slightly off in that way old Flash games always do. Weirdly charming, though.
First time I played, I kept trying to spin dash as Mario (you can’t) and faceplanted into spikes. Classic. The levels mash up Sonic’s speed sections with Mario’s platforming, so one minute you’re bouncing off Koopas, the next you’re getting launched through corkscrews. It’s janky, but in that "this was clearly made by a fan who loved both games" way.
Honestly, half the fun is spotting the little details—like how Sonic’s springs make Mario do his weird floaty jump. It’s short, kinda broken, and feels like something you’d find on a sketchy gaming forum in 2006. In other words: perfect.
