Game Overview
Mario Bros (PC10) is that old-school arcade-style platformer where you're just clearing pipes of these weird turtle things and crabs. You jump underneath to flip them over, then kick them off the stage before they recover. Simple, but weirdly satisfying when you get a rhythm going.
The controls feel stiff at first—Mario slides a bit when you stop running, and the jumps are precise. Took me a few tries to stop missing kicks because the timing’s tighter than it looks. Once it clicks though, you start chaining knockouts, especially when the screen fills up.
It’s one of those games where the challenge comes from the enemies speeding up, not from complex mechanics. Gets chaotic fast if you don’t keep moving. Mario Bros (PC10) holds up as a solid, no-frills arcade port.
