Game Overview
Remember that old Real Ghostbusters cartoon from the late '80s? This arcade game throws you right into that world—you're basically living an episode. You start off blasting ghosts with your proton gun, but here's the twist: you've gotta hold down the fire button to switch to the capture beam and vacuum them into your backpack. At first, I kept forgetting to switch modes and just ended up blasting ghosts into confetti instead of trapping them.
The levels get wild fast—ghosts swarm you from all directions, and if you're not careful, you'll burn through your photon energy before the tough ones show up. There's something satisfying about spotting Slimer floating around as a power-up, though. When you grab him, he zips around you like an overprotective puppy, vaporizing every ghost that gets too close. Just don't get too comfortable—those shields and power shots disappear fast when you're swarmed.
It's pure arcade chaos, but nailing a perfect ghost trap before the timer runs out never gets old.
