Play The Ripping Friends (E)(Patience) Online

You switch between four absurdly jacked heroes, punching goons so hard they fly off-screen while the others just stare. It’s dumb in the best way—like the cartoon, but now your thumbs get in on the action.

Game Overview

Okay, so The Ripping Friends on GBA is basically that early 2000s cartoon where four ridiculously buff dudes punch everything—except now you get to be those dudes. You swap between Crag, Slab, Chunk, and Rip (yes, those are their actual names) to smash through levels, and honestly? It’s as dumb and fun as it sounds.

First thing you’ll notice: the sprites are tiny but weirdly detailed, like someone really tried to cram those over-the-top muscles onto a Game Boy screen. Combat’s simple—lots of punching, throwing enemies, the occasional screen-shaking special move—but there’s something satisfying about launching a villain into the distance while their goons just stand there looking shocked.

Citrasset’s the main bad guy, but half the fun is seeing how many random henchmen you can knock out before the level ends. It’s not deep, but if you ever wanted to pretend you’re a cartoon superhero who solves problems by flexing, this’ll do the trick.
