You control one of several fantasy themed fighters, like a barbarian or a knight, and your goal is to simply defeat the opponent in one on one combat. The signature mechanics are its dismemberment system, where successful heavy attacks can lop off an arm or even a head, and a weapon breaking feature that can leave both combatants brawling with their fists. The pacing is fast and a bit clumsy, with characters that feel heavy and swings that are difficult to precisely aim. It feels like playing a cartoonish bar brawl where the furniture is made of meat.
