Play Time Killers Online
Lose an arm mid-fight and keep brawling—this ridiculous Sega fighter lets you decapitate opponents even when you're just a head and a leg. Cavemen, samurai, and bounty hunters spill absurd fountains of blood with every wild swing.

Time Killers came out for the Sega Genesis in 1996, developed by Incredible Technologies. It was a port of their arcade fighting game, landing in an era when the console was crowded with more polished, well-known fighters. It stood out immediately, but not necessarily for the reasons you might hope.
You control one of several bizarre fighters, like a caveman or a cyborg, and your goal is to win rounds by depleting your opponent's life bar or, more satisfyingly, by dismembering them. The signature mechanics are the limb-targeting system, which lets you chop off arms and legs with specific attacks, and the excessive, almost comical blood spray that follows every hit. The pacing is clunky, the difficulty can feel cheap, and the controls lack the precision of its contemporaries. It feels like playing a grisly cartoon where the main objective is to see how much of your opponent you can remove before the timer runs out.
